Ashby & Rowe Joinery is a six-person workshop in Kingston, New York. We collect only what we need to plan your project and stay in touch about it, and we never sell it.
What we collect
When you request a design consultation, we receive the details you enter in the form: your name, email address, project type, budget range, timeline, preferred consultation date, notes about the room and any photo or inspiration link you add.
When you use our general contact form, we receive your name, email address, phone number if you give it, the subject you choose and your message.
If you call or email the workshop, we keep a record of that conversation so we can follow up. When we visit for a site measure, we take measurements, sketches and photographs of the room.
Like most websites, this site records basic technical information when you visit, such as your browser type, the pages you view and an approximate location based on your IP address. Our website platform, B12, uses cookies and similar tools to keep the site secure and to show us anonymous visitor statistics.
How we use it
- To reply to your inquiry or message and arrange a consultation.
- To prepare shop drawings, estimates and proposals for your project.
- To build, deliver and install your work, and to look after it afterwards.
- To send our project book when you ask for it.
- To understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it.
We will only add you to a mailing list if you ask us to, and you can ask to be removed at any time.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your information. We share it only with the people and services that help us do the work: our website and form provider (B12), our email and accounting tools, and, where your project needs them, trusted trades such as finishers or installers working under our direction. Each receives only what they need for that task. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
Project photographs
We often photograph finished rooms for our portfolio and project book. We always ask before we photograph your home, and we never publish your name, street address or anything that identifies your house without your written permission.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry details for up to two years if a project doesn’t go ahead. For completed projects we keep drawings, records and contact details for as long as we offer care and repair on the work, and as long as tax and business record rules require.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to see the information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies.
Security
We use reputable, secured services to store your information and limit access to the people at the workshop who need it. No method of sending or storing data is completely secure, so please don’t send payment card details through the website form.
Children
This site is meant for adults planning work on their homes. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
