A site everyone can use
Accessibility
Last updated October 19, 2026
We want everyone to be able to see our work and reach the workshop, whatever device or assistive technology they use.
Our goal
We aim for this site to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. We review the site when we add new work and fix problems as we find them.
What we’ve done
- Text and buttons meet AA color contrast against their backgrounds.
- Every page can be used with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline on links, buttons and form fields.
- The mobile menu traps focus while open and closes with the Escape key.
- Photographs of our work have written descriptions; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Animations are reduced or turned off when your device asks for reduced motion.
- Form fields have visible labels and clear error messages.
Known limitations
Some shop-drawing details inside the cut list cards are small, decorative measurements. The same information is always written out in the list beside them.
Tell us if something doesn’t work
If any part of the site is hard to use, email hello@ashbyandrowe.com or call (845) 338-2140. Tell us the page and what happened, and we’ll reply within two working days. We are always happy to share project information by phone, email or in person instead.
